Alexa Brazilian is a veteran newspaper and magazine editor, writer and curator specializing in brand strategy, voice, creative direction and ideation. She spent seven years at The New York Times as T: The New York Times Style Magazine’s Fashion Features and Special Projects Director, focusing on fashion, interior design and the decorative arts. She helped launch the The Wall Street Journal’s Saturday style section, Off Duty, as its first Style Director and later served as the section’s Editor-at-Large and a contributing editor to WSJ. Magazine working from the newspaper’s bureau in London, England. Alexa also served as ELLE Magazine’s Fashion News Editor for six years, discovering young design talent around the world. Before founding Alexa Brazilian Consulting in 2022, she was the Global Head of Editorial Concept and Copy for Kate Spade New York.

Alexa is a contributing editor at T: The New York Times Style Magazine. She lives in Little Compton, Rhode Island with her husband and three girls.
